Molded Tube for Chemical Process:
PTFE generally has low permeation and diffusion rates. Past-extruded PTFE is the best solution for all the chemical & gas related process. Arham techno plast offers precision molded PTFE tube for the chemical industry, which are specifically developed for downhole conditions. PTFE tube can reduce the contamination. By Using PTFE not only in the production of tubes or liners for the handling or storage of corrosive chemicals, but also through parts such as bearings or screws, it can increase the lifetime of both the parts themselves and the whole component. we've also developed our own range of Arham techno plast materials for a variety of different applications.
PTFE TUBING FOR CHEMICAL PROCESSING
Flanged steel piping and a variety of fittings (T’s, elbows, reducers, spacers, etc.) are lined with PTFE tubes formed from granular or fine powder resins or melt-processible fluoropolymers. The ends of the tubes are flared over flanges by thermoforming so that fluids contact only PTFE surfaces when piping sections are joined, usually by bolting. The lining thickness is typically less than 6.4 mm (0.25 in.). FRP piping lined with fluoropolymer is manufactured by forming FRP over a fluoropolymer tube.
PASTE EXTRUDED PTFE IS BETTER FOR CHEMICAL INDUSTRY.
The different process technologies like paste-extrusion, RAM extrusion or isostatic pressing use different raw materials. For example, the difference in permeation and diffusion rates are a ratio of 1 to 5 for paste-extruded PTFE versus RAM-extruded PTFE, with the same lining-thickness. Permeation is the transport of chemical molecules through a barrier material by absorption and adsorption. On the inside of the PTFE-lined equipment, molecules diffuse through the PTFE moving in a direction of higher to lower concentrations.
